Ong Bak 2 is back!

Monday, 29. September 2008

Have you seen Ong Bak before? If you have, you must be just like me and the rest of Muay Thai movies fans. I just can’t wait the see the next Ong Bak movie by Tony Jaa who directs and stars in this second movie. And after some problems from making the movie and the budget happen to Tony Jaa, the movie has been postponed but right now we know when it will be released, Dec 4th is the final!

Tony Jaa is back to finish the movie. And right now the shooting and the set has been great that they expect to finish soon. The release date is now confirmed since it had to be postponed.

I’m sure he wants it to be perfect and we all want that the same. The problems between Jaa and his parent company are now solved. We all want to see the 100 percent completed film. No matter what have happened, just finish this movie because it can definitely sell. It’s not everyone can do the same as Jaa can anyway.

In this second movie, Jaa combines ancient dance with the fight. What it will look like we all wonder, but it’s going to be good for sure since Jaa is the one who performs it.

Hereis the Ong Bak 2 trailer from Youtube. Take a look!

Go Go Tony Jaa! We all support this good and so talented person, don’t we? I really am looking forward to seeing this movie, so do all his fans. And I’m sure there are thousands of Tony Jaa’s fans out there.

A simple guy from nowhere who knows a lot of martial arts skills is now a director. What else he can do?

Are you ready for the next action movie you really should watch? Aukmen is the best choice of action Muay Thai films right now! First check out the cool synopsis from the movie website.

Ahmad Al-Sulaiti is an Engineer from Qatar who was driven out of his dead end job where he was mistreated for several years. Ahmad takes off to Thailand to fulfill his only real dream of becoming a professional fighter. When he arrives in Bangkok he quickly runs into a series of unfortunate events which leave him broke and helpless. Luckily he is taken in by a traditional Muay Thai camp owned by Apidej and his grand daughter Katoon (Julaluck Ismalone) and he is given a chance to make a living out of fighting professionally.

Ahmad adds to his bad luck streak by accepting to fight illegally when given a chance by a young suspicious promoter called Nikki who matches him with K-1 champion Kaoklai Kanorasing!!
At a late age Ahmad has to learn how the rules of judging in Muay Thai don’t favor a foreigner like him so he must put the extra effort to finish each fight against the toughest fighters out there!

Coming from a different culture and background, the events that take place help Ahmad realize a lesson in life, which was that victory doesn’t only come by winning a fight, but by winning the people who were always there for you.
